For me, there is always something special about the Lake District, it's such a beautiful part of the country, with so much to do and see. It has me coming back time and time again. You may have seen my review of our recent visit to Burlington's restaurant at Beech Hill Hotel & Spa in Windermere, here I'd like to share my experience of our stay at the Hotel.
Beech Hill Hotel & Spa is a beautiful stone building nestled on the banks of Lake Windermere. The Hotel has 57 bedrooms, most of them having far reaching lake views and the more luxurious suites, have private balconies. There is ample off street parking via the large car park to the rear of the hotel, you just need to brave the steep drive first!
We arrived around 2pm and couldn't resist having an early explore round the grounds of the hotel and eventually found a winding path that led down to the lakeside.
