Beech Hill Hotel & Spa is well known as a luxury destination to stay in the heart of Cumbria. For a start it is perfectly placed right beside the great lake of Windermere, with not just views to the lake but also beyond and over to some of the well known mountains of Cumbria. I was invited to spend a night here on a recent return to Cumbria and after a day wandering up mountains I was ready to not only enjoying the views but enjoying some comforts, food and luxuries within too
Our room was extremely spacious, and clean, with plenty of room and a window onto a balcony that held that wondrous view over Lake Windermere and beyond....
