The Lake District National Park located in northwest England, is a very popular holiday destination especially during the summer months. The region is known for it’s rugged fell mountains, glacial ribbon lakes and picturesque panoramic views. Some of the most visited towns in the Lake District are Windermere, Kendal, Ambleside, Keswick and Buttermere.
Originally my family and I had planned a visit to the Lake District National Park for my birthday celebration but our holiday got delayed as the little one fell sick so we postponed our trip to the June bank holiday weekend, which was a great decision as the weather was lovely.
