Earlier this week I was looking at our twitter feed (@beechhillhotel) and a fellow twitterer posted some aerial shots of the hotel which looked terrific. So we strike up a conversation after I favourited his post.
Well it turns out that the gentleman in question was Jonathon Lees from Manchester and he was a guest of the hotel. He had used his drone to take some aerial footage of the hotel and surrounding area. He is not a professional but looking at the images he captured I think there's an alternate career choice for him if he chooses.
If you would like to see more of the images he took click here.
Jonathon told me that the equipment he used was a DJI phantom with a 12 mega pixel camera attached.
This is just one of the reasons I do like twitter so much as it does allow you to meet (ok virtually) lots of interesting individuals that you would most likely never get to meet in everyday life.
It also demonstrates the generosity of people in general and I would just thank to thank Jonathon for his kindness in allowing the hotel to use his images.
