This is a great event, which focuses on the natural world around us. Taking place on Saturday the 22nd of June, in Grassmere, this unique event celebrates all that is beautiful about the natural world, but also discusses in depth the damage we are doing to the planet.
The event looks at how local artists in Cumbria have drawn inspiration from the natural world and what locals are doing to tackle climate change and damage to the planet.
On the schedule throughout the day is many different activities such as:
- A birdsong walk with Professor Mike Collier
- What is natural beauty? - Ian Brodie (Former lead officer for Friends of the Lake District)
- A Sense of Here - Harriet and Rob Fraser (somewhere-nowhere)
- A guided walk around Grasmere in the footsteps of William and Dorothy Wordsworth
Tickets for the full day are £25 or £15 for students and unwaged.
