This Father’s Day, on June 16th, Askham Hall plays host to a seven-hour family extravaganza. From 11 am to 6 pm there will be a wealth of games, live music, and activities for all the family to enjoy.
Archery, a treasure hunt, and old fashioned lawn games will features at the venue as will music from a plethora of local musicians. Askham Hall is an area which holds a 12 acre garden perfect for stages and outdoor music. On the bill is acoustic folk singer Rachel Kraft, guitar vocalist Carl Hull and the lead singer of Carlisle band ‘Highly Strung’ Andy Whittaker. Penrith Town Band will also be performing throughout the day.
Throughout the area will be stalls showcasing some great local produce, such as wood fire pizza, bbq, and fresh salads. There will also be crafts and seasonal gifts to buy.
