Soaked

Soaked at Theatre by the Lake. Soaked, by Emma Rydal, directed by Peter MacQueen, is the tale of two old friends now in their 40s and their long-standing relationships with wine. Imogen and Rich are two successful forty-somethings juggling kids, full-time careers and all the trappings of adult life.

Just like they did in their 20s they are still using alcohol as a means of dealing with complex emotions. Sometimes, funny and light but also packed with social commentary and touching reflections, Soaked looks at our societies relationship with alcohol and how it ultimately can mask our real problems and be emotionally detrimental.

Tickets are priced at £15 and the play runs from Monday the 6th of August to Saturday the 11th of August at Theatre by The Lake.
