Looking for a bit of light relief at the end of what has globally been a tumultuous year? Look no further than a fantastic play at the Theatre by the Lake, called The Secret Life of Suitcases.
This is a renowned and funny show, suitable for all the family, featuring legendary Scottish puppeteer Ailie Cohen.
The plot involves a neurotic office worker called Larry, with an obsession with tidiness and order. He spends his days labelling and sorting every last item in his workplace, with razor sharp precision. Everything is in its place, until his tiny world is shaken up by the appearance of a suitcase which turns up on his doorstep with a tiny label that has Larry’s name on it. The suitcase has a mind all of its own and a mission for Larry.
Needless to say this flying suitcase turns Larry’s world upside down and high-jinks and mayhem ensues.
The show is on between the 13th and 23rd of December and tickets cost £32 for a family of 4. For more information visit the Theatre By The Lake
