Percy Kelly Legacy Exhibition at Tullie House. Tullie House is celebrating one of Cumbria’s most famous sons, the artist Percy Kelly. It’s been 100 years since the birth of the celebrated artist and to mark the occasion, Tullie House has decided to host this intimate exhibition of Kelly’s works. The exhibition includes pieces donated by benefactors and features never before seen sketches, such as rough drafts and initial ideas that document the lifecycle of Kelly’s creative process.
The exhibit named “A Legacy” is displayed in the very room where a young Percy would have studied as part of his life drawing class at the Carlisle College of art.
The exhibit runs until Sunday the 24th of February between 10 am and 4 pm. An adult ticket is priced at £6.50 and children go free. Tullie House is on Castle Street in Carlisle Cumbria.
