Cool and hip, with a very on-trend flavour, Outdoor Cinema is the latest hipster export to come to the Lakes. Outdoor Cinema at Muncaster Castle, is offering up two flicks, in the breathtaking grounds of the iconic Muncaster Castle.
Outdoor Cinema is not just for film buffs, it is a unique experience for all. Run by Picnic Cinema, the event takes place the first weekend in August with two classic films on the big screen on the Castle front lawn.
On Friday 5th, they are showing the David Bowie classic ‘Labyrinth’ and on Saturday the 6th, 'Rocky Horror Picture Show’.
On both nights the event begins at 7pm but the film isn't shown until 9:30pm as darkness is needed for the screen to be clear enough for viewing. The showing goes ahead regardless of weather, so be prepared!
