The nearby area boasts a host of food celebrations in addition to the Beech Hill Hotel, set against a beautiful Cumbrian backdrop.
First up is the Borough Farmer’s Market at Borough Town Hall. The Farmers’ Market is held on the third Saturday of every month, so this time around on May the 16th. Unlike so many other farmers markets this time of year the whole thing is held under cover, sheltering the fresh products from any pests or bad weather. There are some outside stalls, the organic veg seller in particular prefers an outdoor space.
