Here’s one for all you fans of all things hot and spicy. Following the recent hot sauce trend and growing public appetite for exotic, spicy food experiences, comes the Holker Chilli Fest at Holker Hall and Gardens.
The festival takes place over two days in the second weekend of September and features gastro adventures, courtesy of some of the best chilli specialists in the UK. You can get to grips with some of the strongest, hottest chills in the world and sample the very best in local specialist food suppliers.
If hotter than hot foods isn’t your thing, then you could always sample some of the other catering options, which include cuisine from around the world. Get yourself along to the gift stalls and take home a a variety of quirky gifts.
In addition, there are the ever popular eating competitions, for those looking to practice their chilli chomping abilities and there will also be entertainment and cookery demonstrations.
