From the 2nd of June to the 22nd of September you can discover 2000 years of history in just 2 hours, on the ever popular Historic Carlisle Walking Tour!
On the Historic Carlisle Walking Tour, you can uncover the Roman heritage of these parts, wander along the medieval walls and explore the ancient cathedral, the impressive Guildhall and the enigmatic St Cuthbert’s Church.
This fascinating 2-hour guided walk is an exciting way to discover the ancient Roman ruins along this timeless landscape. Tours are every Thursday afternoon from May to September from 2.00-4.00 pm. You can book through Carlisle Tourist Information Centre on 01228 598596.
Tickets are priced at a very reasonable £7.50 per adult and children are able to go free, up to the age of 16. The ticket also entitles the individual to claim 20% discount off admission into Tullie House, at the end of the tour.
