Back for it’s third year at Muncaster Castle, the ever popular Cumberland Sausage Festival, will no doubt serve up another year of great family fun. Taking place over 3 days during the May Day Bank Holiday weekend, it is a celebration of all things quality Cumbrian food and drink.
From hotdogs to stews, see how cumbrian sausages can transform a meal from mediocre to memorable. There will be cooking demos, celebrity chefs and plenty of entertainment. Needless to say there is also ample opportunity to taste what’s on offer and buy it too.
It’s not just sausages that take centre stage, the festival will also showcase some of the best produce from all over the North of England. From craft beers to gourmet cheeses, plus a selection of craft and giftware can be bought to complete your retail experience.
Muncaster Caste is in full bloom this time of year and it really is a great time to visit the Sausage Festival.
