Something new and slightly left-field to hit Cumbria at the tail end of this month; contemporary dance at the Stanwix Theatre, in the University of Cumbria. Although the event features the joint honours 3rd year dancers, the high standard and professionalism is there. The students will perform their final dance production of the season that marks the end of their three years at the University of Cumbria.
As all fans of this genre of dance will know, contemporary dance pieces are often designed to push the boundaries, ask questions and invoke reaction, this performance is no different. This piece promises to push boundaries for the dancers and the audience. As well as beautiful story telling, the technical dance standard is exceptional.
For those of you new to Cumbria, seeing the show is a chance to visit the University, situated on Brampton Road in Carlisle.
The show takes place Thursday 17th - Saturday 19th of Mar 2016, show times are 19:00pm to 21:00pm.
