On Friday the 6th until Sunday the 8th of October, Borderlines Book Festival 2017 is taking place in Carlisle.
Borderlines, is back! Now in its fourth year, it will once again take place in some of Carlisle's best venues and feature celebrated regional and national authors.
Borderlines Book Festival is a celebration of the written word and the power it has to inspire, transform and mesmerise.
The festival features some renowned speakers, writers and authors. It also is committed to nurturing and showcasing local talent; providing a platform for unknown individuals to showcase their works and gain knowledge and skills from the more experienced pros.
The festival is not just about authors and their work, it also aims to address literacy levels in the local area and work to improve access to books, for all ages.
