Shappi Khorsandi: Skittish Warrior At Brewery Arts Centre. On Friday the 17th of May, Kendal is set to host some top-notch British comedy from the much-loved comedienne and recent I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here cast member, Shappi Khorsandi.
Khorsandi has had an interesting rise through the comedy ranks and an interesting life in general, all of which combines to produce the material for what is an extremely funny comedy routine.
Throughout her show, she talks about her difficult rise through the ranks of the 90s live comedy circuit, to breaking through onto TV and then letting the momentum slide away before re-inventing herself with a new routine and a dose of reality TV.
Khorshandi is also a celebrated author, having published two warmly received books, as featured on Radio 4.
Tickets are priced at £15 and the show starts at 7:30 at the Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal.
