At Dalemain Mansion & Historic Gardens. A walking event for a great cause. If you are in The Lakes on Saturday the 13th of July, you have the chance to take part in a walking event that will really make a difference.
This event will raise money for McMillan cancer support, a fabulous charity that specialises in caring for those affected by cancer who may already be facing dire social circumstances or may not have a support system in place to help them through the long journey back to health.
This charity trekking event takes place across 26 miles around the Ullswater way. 2000 participants are expected to take part and it's not too late to sign up to get involved and get the sponsorship money in.
The event will start at Dalemain House and finish at Lowther Castle. Meanwhile, the route the runners will get to enjoy will take in the breathtaking Ullswater way.
