Billie Buzzard's Wild Garden Trail at Allan Bank. This is a great, wholesome day out for all the family. Running from May to October, children from the local area and further afield revel in this activity on offer.
The premise to this day out is simple, it is an old fashioned scavenger hunt, where children are tasked with solving clues, in order to find all the creatures that Billie Buzzard ( the bird that flies above Allan Bank) can see. Set in the beautiful woodland surroundings of Allan Bank, parents will enjoy a gentle day out with plenty of fresh air and nice scenery.
The event runs from 10:30 until 4pm, but with so much going on the day quickly passes. Booking is not needed and charges do not apply beyond the fee to get into Allan Bank and Grasmere.
